Best-Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

This child-friend-maker is supposedly the recipe for cookies made and sold by Neiman Marcus, per the legend that travels the Internet. Neiman Marcus claims no ownership, and in fact, bonafide NM Chocolate Chip Cookies are frankly not as good. Although the origin of this Internet recipe is unknown, the truth is that these are darned good cookies! I thought everyone and their mother had the well-circulated recipe by now, but I continue to get requests for it. Much thanks to the originator of this great urban legend! ~Joanna
