| Creamy Japanese Salad Dressing

| We love the salad dressing at Takara Restaurant in Capitola, California. While preparing a fabulous sushi dinner for us, my son challenged me to recreate the dressing, and this is the result. We think it’s delicious, and pretty close to Takara’s. Use this sparingly on a crisp tossed salad. |

| Ingredients |

1 1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup mayonnaise
dash hot sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
pinch of sugar
