Tandoori Chicken Wings

Spiced tandoori chicken wings are terrific with other Indian dishes like Aloo Gobi, and raita makes a wonderful accompaniment. These marinated, baked wings are relatively simple to make. If using Greek yogurt, add 2 tablespoons water to the marinade. The wings can also be grilled.

1 tablespoons Kashmiri red chili powder
2 tablespoons minced ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1 Combine all ingredients except cilantro in a bowl. Marinate wings for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.
2 Preheat oven to 400°F. Place a rack inside a baking sheet.Place wings on rack, making sure to leave space between them for even browning.
3 Bake wings for 30-40 minutes.
