Savory Grilled Portabella Mushrooms

Yield 2 servings

3 Tablespoons chopped garlic
2 Tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 lemon, juice of
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 pound portabella mushrooms, cut into 1/4” slices
Small onion, thinly sliced (optional)

1 Mix garlic, cilantro, olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne.
2 Add mushrooms and onions, toss and let marinate 20 minutes to 1-hour.
3 Prepare grill.
4 Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
