Streusel Topping

This makes a big batch of streusel, enough for 4 or 5 dozen muffins or 2 pies. Keep it in the freezer so that you have it on hand whenever you have the urge to bake.
Yield 4 cups
Ingredients

2 cups walnuts
1 1/3 cups white sugar
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons cinnamon
5 tablespoons butter


1 In a food processor, coarsely chop the walnuts.
2 Add the sugar, oats and cinnamon. Pulse to blend, about 10 seconds.
3 Add butter and process about 10 seconds more, until you have a crumbly mixture.
