Fudgesicles

American
Fudge Popsicles

This is the real deal - creamy, yet light and refreshing. Go ahead, make a child (or your inner one) happy. If you don't have popsicle molds, use coated paper cups. A small spoon is a good stand-in if you don't have popsicle sticks.
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
Steps
1 Whisk sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa in a saucepan. Whisk in milk.

2 Over medium heat, stirring constantly with whisk, cook until all cocoa lumps dissolve, and mixture thickens slightly (the consistency should be like heavy cream).

3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.

4 When completely cooled, pour into molds and freeze until firm.
