Official Contest Rules
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE FOODIE KITCHEN RECIPE CONTEST.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Foodie Kitchen Recipe Contests run for the period specified on the Recipe Contest Announcement page.
Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m., P.T., on the Contest end date. Entries become the property of the contest sponsor, Foodie Kitchen (Beaulieu Enterprises, LLC.) and will not be acknowledged or returned.
ENTRY: To enter, send your recipe by email to Joanna@foodiekitchen.com. Please insert the recipe into the message portion of the email. No attached documents will be accepted. There is no cost to subscribe to the newsletter or enter. Recipes must be original and unpublished. One recipe per category per monthly contest may be entered so long as each one is entirely unique and complies with all other terms hereof.
ELIGIBILITY: All subscribers to the Foodie Kitchen Newsletter who are residents of the 50 United States, including the District of Columbia are eligible to enter.
All eligible entries received will be read and judged to select finalists. Each finalist recipe chosen shall then be prepared and judged on taste, ease of preparation, visual appeal, and use of natural ingredients. Three prizewinners will be determined. All winning entries shall be posted on www.foodiekitchen.com.
PRIZES: One contest winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to foodiekitchen.com. Winner will be notified by e-mail and gift certificates will be honored after winner notification and receipt of signed affidavit of eligibility. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. Prizes awarded are gift certificates valid only at foodiekitchen.com. Gift certificates have no cash value.
RULES FOR WINNERS: Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if potential winner fails to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated Official Rules or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, prize will be forfeited. Beaulieu Enterprises at its sole discretion will then award prize to another entrant. Entrants understand that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this contest and acceptance, possession and use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.
PRIVACY: Registration for the Foodie Kitchen Newsletter is required to enter the Contest. All terms and conditions of subscribing to the newsletter shall apply.
OTHER: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason, or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the web site or otherwise in violation of the rules. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the contest. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to an eligible, non-suspect, entry received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry systems or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the contest is prohibited. In the event of a dispute regarding online entry, entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry.
LICENSE AND RELEASE: By entering, entrants authorize the Sponsor to use their recipe, name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in promotional material and for advertising, public relations and editorial purposes worldwide, in perpetuity, or on a winners' list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
GENERAL: Except where prohibited by law: (i) entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's recipe, entry, name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements regarding this contest for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes in any media, including the Internet, for any purpose whatsoever on behalf of Sponsor without compensation; (ii) potential winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Ownership/Liability Release, Assignment of All Rights in Pre-Existing Work and Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification or an alternate winner will be chosen. If winner notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant. By participating and winning a prize, winner releases Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability with respect to the prize won and participation in the contest. Subject to all U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
