Foodie Kitchen is a dynamic kitchen portal featuring select kitchen tools and ingredients along with delicious recipes to use them. Everything, including recipes, is tested in our kitchens before we offer them on our site.

"Have you noticed that as your love of good food grows, it becomes a contagious passion that draws in your family and friends? Friends are eager to share their new culinary finds with you. Recipes get exchanged. Kids take an interest in cooking. New restaurant openings take on the significance of a Hollywood premiere.

I began to use the term foodie kitchen to refer to the group with whom I share all things food-related. We come from all walks of life - some of us are food professionals, others are home chefs with barely the time to eat a meal most days. We are all ages, from varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We have discovered that the sharing of our passionate interest in food creates a bond that is familial and enduring. Invite an acquaintance into your kitchen, spend some time messing around - chopping, cooking, tasting - and you will see what I mean. Your own foodie kitchen just grew larger.

This site was created in the spirit of sharing the things we love with an audience that appreciates the tastes, the tools and the knowledge essential to a finer food experience. Some items on our site may be commonly found elsewhere (although usually at a higher price), but we offer them because we think they are simply the best in their class. Others are harder to find, or may be more costly than standard-issue products, so we have done the research and the testing to take the guesswork out of your purchase. Recipes are developed in our kitchens or provided by restaurants and households who want to share their creations. We test all of our recipes before we publish them to ensure successful results for our readers. Click on RECIPES to discover some of the best dishes cooked by the Foodie Family. We are always looking for those that provide the most flavor for the least amount of effort, and Cuisine Rapide lists dishes that can be brought to the table in 45 minutes or less.
