| Tortilla Strip Soup

| Ingredients |
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 corn tortillas, cut in strips
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeño chopped
1 can each chicken, beef broth, tomato soup
1 can tomatoes with chiles (such as Rotels)
2 cups water
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon strips
1 tablespoon tabasco
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons cilantro

Steps

| 1 | Heat olive oil, lightly fry tortilla strips in oil, then remove. |

2 | Place onion, garlic and jalapeño in the oil and cook for two minutes. |

3 | Add remaining ingredients except tortillas, cheese and cilantro. Boil and simmer for 30 minutes. |
| |
4 | Put tortillas in bowl, add a bit of cheese and cilantro, then soup. |
