Having been to Mama's Fish House you might have enjoyed their bar as well as the fresh fish served with a side of fresh coconut and pineapple. This is a first stop in Maui and this is the first thing I order. This is their actual recipe.
Mama's Fish House Mai Tai - The essential Tropical Mai Tai.
Yield 1 serving
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces light Rum
1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
1 1/2 ounces lime juice
1 splash orgeat (almond flavored syrup)
1 splash simple syrup
2 splash orange curacao
2 splash grenadine or Pomegranate syrup.
2 ounces dark Rum float on top
1Pour light Rum on ice in glass.2Add juices & orgeat sugar syrup & 1/2 of the curacao, grenadine3Float dark Rum and give it one quick stir.4Rest or the orange curacao & grenadine splashes.5Garnish with a lime wheel, umbrella & cherry, and tropical flower.
